- Required for serum-stimulated cell proliferation and plays a role in mitogen-stimulated phosphorylation and activation of BRAF, although it does not phosphorylate BRAF directly.
- Influences microtubule organization during the cell cycle and localizes to the centrosome and microtubule organizing center in the cytoplasm.
