Biological Background: SRBD1 Function and Localization
- SRBD1 (S1 RNA-binding domain-containing protein 1) is a DNA- and histone-binding protein that localizes to the central axes of mitotic chromosomes, playing a critical role in chromosome architecture during cell division. Related references: PMID:39955279, PMID:40106440
