Biological Background: METTL2A Function and Localization

• METTL2A is a tRNA N(3)-cytidine methyltransferase that catalyzes the methylation of cytidine at position 32 of tRNA(Thr)(UGU) and tRNA(Arg)(CCU) anticodon loops. Related references: PMID:28655767, PMID:34268557
