- GIPC1 (PDZ domain-containing protein GIPC1) is also known as GAIP C-terminus-interacting protein, synectin, and RGS19-interacting protein 1, and contains a PDZ domain that mediates protein-protein interactions.
- It may play a role in G protein-linked signaling pathways, interacting with regulators of G-protein signaling (RGS) proteins.
