Biological Background: RANK/CD265 Function and Localization
- RANK (Receptor Activator of NF-κB), also known as CD265, ODFR, TRANCE-R, and Ly109, is a type I transmembrane protein and a member of the tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily (TNFRSF11A), encoded by the Tnfrsf11a gene in mice.
