Biological Background: CEACAM5 Function and Localization
- CEACAM5 (CD66e, CEA) is a cell surface glycoprotein that mediates homophilic and heterophilic cell adhesion with other CEACAM family members, such as CEACAM6. Related references: PMID:2803308
