Biological Background: CD303/BDCA-2 Function and Localization
- CD303/BDCA-2 (CLEC4C) is a C-type lectin receptor primarily expressed on the surface of plasmacytoid dendritic cells (PDCs) and immature monocyte-derived dendritic cells. It functions as an endocytic receptor involved in antigen capture and presentation.
