Biological Background: CD26/DPP4 Function and Localization

• Functions as a cell surface glycoprotein receptor that provides costimulatory signals essential for TCR-mediated T-cell activation, acting as a positive regulator by interacting with ADA, CAV1, IGF2R, and PTPRC; interaction with CAV1 and CARD11 promotes T-cell proliferation and NF-κB activation.
