Biological Background: B7-H2/CD275 (ICOS Ligand) Function and Localization
- ICOSLG encodes B7-H2 (CD275), a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily and the B7 family of immune regulatory proteins; alternative splicing generates multiple isoforms.

- Also induces B-cell proliferation and differentiation into plasma cells, contributing to adaptive immunity.
