- PTPN22 (also known as LYP, PEP) is a non-receptor tyrosine phosphatase primarily expressed in immune cells.
- Acts as a negative regulator of TCR signaling by dephosphorylating Src kinases LCK and FYN, ZAP70, VAV, VCP, CBL, and SKAP2.
