Biological Background: PPIL2 Function and Localization

• For Western blot, the predicted molecular weight of PPIL2 is approximately 58.8 kDa; a band around 59 kDa is expected under reducing conditions. Validate the signal in a relevant sample system, such as thymus or testis lysates, where expression is highest.
• In ELISA, consider using purified recombinant PPIL2 as a standard and titrate the antibody to determine optimal working concentrations.
