- Proto-oncogene tyrosine-protein kinase Src (c-Src) is a ~60 kDa non-receptor tyrosine kinase, encoded by the SRC gene (Gene ID: 6714). Alternative names include ASV, SRC1, THC6, and p60-Src. Three isoforms arise from alternative splicing, with isoform 1 representing the canonical sequence.
