Biological Background: PDK1 Function and Localization

• 3-phosphoinositide-dependent protein kinase 1 (PDK1), also known as PDPK1, PDPK2, and PRO0461, is a 63 kDa serine/threonine kinase encoded by the PDPK1 gene.
