  • Integrin alpha-3 (UniProt: P26006, also known as CD49c, VLA-3 alpha chain, GAPB3) is a transmembrane glycoprotein that heterodimerizes with integrin beta-1 to form the alpha-3/beta-1 receptor. The alpha subunit contains a large extracellular domain with seven FG-GAP repeats, a transmembrane helix, and a short cytoplasmic tail.
