Biological Background: CD22 Function and Localization
- CD22 (Siglec-2, BL-CAM, Leu-14) is a sialic acid-binding immunoglobulin-like lectin predominantly expressed on B-lymphocytes, functioning as both an adhesion molecule and an inhibitory coreceptor of the B-cell receptor (BCR). Related references: PMID:34330755 PMID:8627166
