- NCAPD2, also known as condensin complex subunit 1, hCAP-D2, or chromosome-associated protein D2, is a regulatory subunit of the condensin I complex.

- NCAPD2 may target the condensin complex to DNA through its C-terminal domain and promotes resolution of DNA catenanes between sister chromatids.
