L3MBTL3 (Lethal(3)malignant brain tumor-like protein 3), also known as MBT-1, is a member of the malignant brain tumor (MBT) family and contains zinc-finger domains characteristic of chromatin regulators.

It functions as a negative regulator of Notch target gene expression by recruiting the lysine-specific demethylase KDM1A (LSD1) to Notch-responsive elements, promoting H3K4me1/2 demethylation and transcriptional repression.
