- TTC11/FIS1, also known as Mitochondrial fission 1 protein (hFis1) or Tetratricopeptide repeat protein 11, is encoded by the FIS1 (TTC11) gene in humans and contains TPR repeat domains.
- It localizes to the mitochondrial outer membrane and peroxisome membrane, where it plays a role in organelle fission.
