- Also known as N-terminal kinase-like protein, coated vesicle-associated kinase of 90 kDa (CVAK90), NTKL, TAPK, TEIF, and TRAP; encoded by the SCYL1 gene in humans.

- Acts as a transcriptional activator by binding to GC-rich DNA motifs in the promoter regions of beta-polymerase and TERT.
