- The recombinant immunogen (aa 206-630) corresponds to the large ectodomain of SLC3A2, which is well-conserved; the antibody is expected to detect the target in denatured (WB) and native (IF/ICC, FC) conditions.
- For Western blot, multiple bands around 57–71 kDa are observed due to heterogeneous N-glycosylation; treatment with PNGase F can simplify band pattern.
- For immunofluorescence, fixation and permeabilization protocols (e.g., methanol or Triton X-100) may be necessary to access intracellular SLC3A2 pools in lysosomes.
- Provided cross-reactivity is human; for other species, verify sequence homology of the immunogen region and perform a species-specific validation.
