- The immunogen corresponds to amino acids 1–110 of human INS, covering the full preproinsulin sequence. Depending on the sample, the antibody may detect bands corresponding to proinsulin or mature insulin (~12 kDa) in WB. Validate molecular weight markers in your system.
- For IHC-P and IF-P, pancreatic tissue sections serve as an appropriate positive control. Consider antigen retrieval conditions and test appropriate antibody dilutions.
