Biological Background: Tyrosine-protein kinase Fyn Function and Localization

• Tyrosine-protein kinase Fyn is a member of the Src family of non-receptor tyrosine kinases, characterized by SH2 and SH3 protein interaction domains and an N-terminal myristoylation/palmitoylation site for membrane localization.
