Biological Background: ELAC2 Function and Localization

• ELAC2 is a zinc phosphodiesterase (ElaC homolog protein 2) with multiple aliases including Heredity prostate cancer protein 2 (HPC2), Ribonuclease Z 2 (RNase Z 2), and tRNA 3 endonuclease 2 (tRNase Z 2).
