Biological Background: CD301/CLEC10A Function and Localization

  • CLEC10A (C-type lectin domain family 10 member A), also known as macrophage galactose-type lectin (MGL), DC-ASGPR, or CD301, is a type II transmembrane protein belonging to the C-type lectin family. It is encoded by the CLEC10A gene on chromosome 17 and exists in several alternatively spliced isoforms.
