Biological Background: ADAM10 (CD156c) Function and Localization

• ADAM10 (Disintegrin and metalloproteinase domain-containing protein 10), also known as CD156c, CDw156, Kuzbanian, and MADM, is a transmembrane metalloprotease belonging to the ADAM family. It plays critical roles in ectodomain shedding of numerous substrates.
