Biological Background: ZRANB3 Function and Localization

• ZRANB3 (DNA annealing helicase and endonuclease ZRANB3), also known as AH2 (annealing helicase 2) or zinc finger Ran-binding domain-containing protein 3, is a multifunctional enzyme that maintains genome stability at stalled or collapsed replication forks by facilitating fork restart and limiting inappropriate recombination during template switching events.
