- USP9Y, also known as Ubiquitin carboxyl-terminal hydrolase 9Y, Deubiquitinating enzyme FAF-Y, or Fat facets protein-related Y-linked, is a member of the ubiquitin-specific protease (USP) family.
- Encoded by the USP9Y gene (alternative name DFFRY) on the Y chromosome, it functions as a deubiquitinase that cleaves ubiquitin from substrate proteins, playing a role in the ubiquitin-proteasome pathway.
