  • UPF2 (Regulator of nonsense transcripts 2), also known as up-frameshift suppressor 2 homolog (hUpf2), is encoded by the UPF2 gene (KIAA1408, RENT2) and is a core component of the nonsense-mediated mRNA decay (NMD) pathway.
