• Tumor-associated calcium signal transducer 2 (TROP-2), encoded by TACSTD2, is also known as cell surface glycoprotein Trop-2, EGP1, GA733-1, and M1S1.

• Located on the cell membrane (single-pass type I membrane protein), consistent with its role in signal transduction.
