- For immunohistochemistry (IHC-P) and immunofluorescence (IF/ICC), prioritize antigen retrieval and include a mitochondrial marker co-staining to confirm specific outer membrane localization.
- Cross-reactivity with mouse and rat TOMM40 has been demonstrated, enabling use in rodent tissue and cell models; however, validation in the specific experimental context is advised.
- For ELISA, consider the polyclonal nature may provide sensitivity for detecting denatured or native TOMM40; optimize coating and detection conditions as needed.
