Biological Background: Syntenin-1 Function and Localization

• Syntenin-1 (also known as MDA-9, TACIP18; gene SDCBP) is a scaffold protein containing PDZ domains and a lipid-binding repeat; post‑translationally modified by acetylation and phosphorylation.
