- SUV39H2 is a histone-lysine N-methyltransferase, also known as KMT1B or Suppressor of variegation 3-9 homolog 2, that specifically trimethylates histone H3 at Lys-9 (H3K9me3) using monomethylated H3K9 as substrate.
