Biological Background: SIRT5 Function and Localization
- SIRT5 is an NAD-dependent lysine demalonylase, desuccinylase and deglutarylase that specifically removes malonyl, succinyl and glutaryl groups on target proteins. Related references: PMID:21908771, PMID:22076378, PMID:24703693
