Biological Background: SETD2 Function and Localization

  • SETD2 is a histone-lysine N-methyltransferase that specifically trimethylates 'Lys-36' of histone H3 (H3K36me3), representing the main enzyme generating this mark for epigenetic transcriptional activation.
