  • SCP2 encodes isoforms SCP2 (sterol carrier protein 2) and SCPx (sterol carrier protein X/SCP-X), also known as non-specific lipid-transfer protein (NSL-TP), acetyl-CoA C-myristoyltransferase, and propanoyl-CoA C-acyltransferase.
