- Runt-related transcription factor 3 (RUNX3), also known as AML2 or CBFA3, is a member of the RUNX family of transcription factors that play critical roles in cell lineage specification and differentiation.
- RUNX3 forms a heterodimeric complex with core-binding factor beta (CBFB) to constitute the core-binding factor (CBF). The complex recognizes the consensus DNA sequence 5'-TGTGGT-3' (or rarely 5'-TGCGGT-3') via the runt domain, regulating transcription of target genes.

- For IF/ICC, nuclear and/or cytoplasmic staining is expected. Researchers should validate in their cell system using appropriate controls, as localization may vary with cell type or stimulation.
- This polyclonal antibody may recognize both human and mouse RUNX3, but cross-reactivity should be confirmed if used outside these species.
