- RSRC1, also known as Serine/Arginine-related protein 53 (SRrp53) or Arginine/serine-rich coiled-coil protein 1, is a member of the serine/arginine-rich protein family involved in mRNA processing.

- RSRC1 is involved in both constitutive and alternative pre-mRNA splicing, and may participate in recognition of the 3' splice site during the second step of splicing.
- Subcellularly, the protein localizes primarily to the nucleus and nuclear speckles, with additional presence in the cytoplasm.
