- RNF125, also known as TRAC-1 (T-cell RING activation protein 1), is an E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase containing a RING finger domain.
- It mediates ubiquitination and proteasomal degradation of multiple signaling proteins, including RIGI, MAVS, IFIH1, JAK1, and p53, thereby regulating innate immunity, apoptosis, and T-cell activation.
