  • RNF115 (also known as BCA2, ZNF364, Rabring7) is a RING finger-containing E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase that mediates both 'Lys-48'- and 'Lys-63'-linked polyubiquitination of substrate proteins, regulating diverse processes including autophagy, innate immunity, and cell proliferation (PubMed:20019814, PubMed:30689267).   • It plays a critical role in endosomal trafficking and lysosomal degradation of membrane receptors such as EGFR, FLT3, MET, and CXCR4 by promoting their ubiquitination.
