RING1B/RNF2 (also known as RING2, RING1b, BAP-1, DinG) is an E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase that catalyzes the monoubiquitination of histone H2A at lysine 119 (H2AK119Ub), a key epigenetic mark associated with transcriptional repression.
