Biological Background: RASGRP1 Function and Localization

• RASGRP1 (RAS guanyl-releasing protein 1), also known as CALDAG-GEFII, is a calcium- and diacylglycerol (DAG)-regulated guanine nucleotide exchange factor (GEF) that specifically activates Ras by catalyzing GDP/GTP exchange (PubMed:15899849, PubMed:23908768, PubMed:27776107).
