  • Raptor (regulatory-associated protein of mTOR) is a core component of the mechanistic target of rapamycin complex 1 (mTORC1), which functions as a central nutrient sensor to stimulate anabolic reactions and macromolecule biosynthesis, thereby promoting cell growth and proliferation.
