- RALY (RNA-binding protein Raly), also known as autoantigen p542 or heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein C-like 2 (hnRNP C-like 2), is encoded by the RALY gene (aliases HNRPCL2, P542).
- RALY functions as a transcriptional cofactor for cholesterol biosynthetic genes in the liver by binding the lipid-responsive non-coding RNA LeXis (By similarity).

- The protein localizes predominantly to the nucleus.
