- PP2A-B55α (also known as PPP2R2A, B55 alpha, PR55 alpha) is a regulatory subunit of serine/threonine-protein phosphatase 2A (PP2A), responsible for substrate recognition.
- It plays a pivotal role in cell cycle regulation by controlling mitosis entry and exit through dephosphorylation of key substrates.
