- Transcription factor PIF4, also known as AtPIF4, bHLH9, EN102, and SRL2, is a basic helix-loop-helix protein encoded by the PIF4 gene in Arabidopsis thaliana. It integrates light and temperature signals to regulate growth.
- Functions negatively in phytochrome B signaling, controlling expression of genes involved in cell expansion by binding to G-box motifs (By similarity).
