PDE3A, also known as cGMP-inhibited phosphodiesterase A (CGI-PDE A), is a cyclic nucleotide phosphodiesterase that specifically hydrolyzes the second messengers cAMP and cGMP, playing a crucial role in regulating physiological processes such as cardiovascular function and insulin secretion.
