Biological Background: PAPD4 Function and Localization
- PAPD4 is a cytoplasmic poly(A) RNA polymerase that adds AMP monomers to the 3′-end of specific mRNAs, forming a poly(A) tail, distinct from the canonical nuclear poly(A) polymerase. Related references: PMID:15070731, PMID:31792053
