- OsbZIP23 is a basic leucine zipper (bZIP) transcription factor in rice (Oryza sativa), also known as ABRE-binding factor 2 (OsABF2) and abscisic acid responsive element-binding factor 1 (OsAREB1), which mediates abscisic acid (ABA) signaling.
