Biological Background: NME1/NM23A Function and Localization
- Nucleoside diphosphate kinase A (NDPK A, NME1, NM23-H1) is a ~17 kDa enzyme that catalyzes the transfer of a gamma-phosphoryl group from ATP to nucleoside diphosphates, maintaining nucleoside triphosphate homeostasis. Related references: PMID:10952986 PMID:14960567 PMID:16313181
