  • The immunogen corresponds to the N-terminal region (aa 1-100) of human NKX3.1; consider this when analyzing isoforms or truncated forms.
  • For Western blot (WB), a band around 26 kDa is expected. Verify specificity using lysates from prostate or prostate cancer cell lines (e.g., LNCaP, PC-3) as positive controls, and include negative controls from tissues with low or absent expression.
  • For immunohistochemistry (IHC-P), nuclear staining should be observed. Antigen retrieval and antibody dilution may require optimization depending on the tissue fixation and processing conditions.
  • Due to reactivity across human, mouse, and rat, the antibody is suitable for cross-species studies, but validation in each species’ sample system is recommended.
